Elizabeth Louise (Peterson) Barnhart

Elizabeth Louise Barnhart, "Betty", Johnstown, died January 7, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 27, 1930 in Johnstown, daughter of George and Martha (Palliser) Peterson. Preceded in death by parents; husband, R. Elwood; son, Wesley; and siblings, John, Sara, and Ray. Survived by children, Keith (Marjorie Dressman), Pittsburgh; Beth (Creighton Potter), North Carolina; and Craig and fiancee, Shari Harrison, Johnstown; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was a member of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed traveling and hiking. Friends received Friday from 10 until the hour of service at 11AM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., with Pastor Gary Tustin officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
