Douglas Beri Obituary

Douglas M. Beri, Sr., 66, Windber, passed away at his home June 21, 2025. Born March 17, 1959 in Windber son of Alek, Sr. and Mary Margaret (Snyder) Beri. Preceded in death by parents; son, Carlin; and brothers, David and Daniel. Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Survived by loving wife, Rebecca (Kenno); children, Douglas, Jr; Joey; Zachary Kern; Chantal Lasagna; Tatiyana Kristoff; brother Alek, Jr.; sister, Deborah Stufft; several cherished grandchildren; and many more loving family members. Doug spent over 30 years working for Robindale Energy Services (formerly NGR). He was known for his kindness, strong work ethic, and many skills. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and spending time in his home machine shop. He had a deep love for animals, especially his rat, Sam and dog, Gigi. He treasured time spent with his family, particularly, his granddaughter, Ava. Doug embraced life with a quiet strength and a love for new experiences. Though Doug's passing was sudden and heartbreaking, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he find peace and may we honor his life by cherishing our time with each other. Friends received Friday from 10AM until the time of memorial service at noon at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Inurnment, Richland Mausoleum.
