Dorothy Lois Weimer, 94, Johnstown, died June 29, 2023 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born September 22, 1928 in Conemaugh Twp., Somerset County, daughter of John and Linnie (Rhoads) Spory. Preceded in death by parents; grandson, Leonard Weimer; and brothers, James and Alfred. Survived by husband, Luke; children, Larry A. (Linda Strolehn), Cranberry Twp.; and Carol L. (John Hahn), Johnstown; grandchildren, Lynn (Todd Sylvester); Dean Weimer; James Hahn; and Samuel Hahn (Alexis Miller); great grandchildren, Chase Weimer, Zachary Sylvester, Sophia, Skylynn, Bubba, and Aidan Hahn; and sister, Dorcas L. (George Friedline), New Martinsville, WV. She was a member of Benscreek Lutheran Church, and Hilltop Seniors. By request, there will be no viewing. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Benscreek Lutheran Church, or Arbutus Park Manor. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the Weimer family.
