Dorothy Stapleton Obituary

Dorothy I. "Dottie" Stapleton, 87, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord February 24, 2025 at Richland Health Care. Born July 16, 1937 in New Brunswick, NJ, oldest and last surviving child of Joseph and Dorothy (McCabe) Tagliaboschi. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Lorraine Hughes; and siblings, Joseph, James, Patricia, Virginia, and twins, Catherine and Harry. Survived by husband, Charles A. Stapleton, Sr.; much loved granddaughters, Janine and Kerry Hughes; and son-in-law, Bud Hughes. She retired from Barclay Brand in 1991. Dottie will be missed for her smile and humor. She always enjoyed making her Garden Terrace friends laugh. By request there will be no viewing. Funeral service will be private. Arrangements are by John Henderson Company Funeral Home.
