Dorothy A. Katchur, 88, Johnstown, Died April 26, 2023 at Richland Woods. Born January 19, 1935 in Dunlo. Daughter of Adam and Ann (Fetchu) Katchur. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Andrew, Joseph, John, George; sisters Betty Labyack, Mary Rager, Agnes Sermulis, Ann Paluchak, Veronica Baker. Survived by special niece who was like a sister, Louise Eakle and also numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Her previous places of employment was Johnstown Savings Bank and the A&P. The family would like to thank Richland Woods and her caretakers while she was at home, for the care they provided to Dorothy. Friends will be received Sunday form 2-5 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. A funeral mass will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David Peles. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Beaverdale.
