Doris Mae (Geary) Horner

Doris Mae Horner, 88, Davidsville, died June 10, 2026 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 28, 1938 in New Florence, daughter of Herman and Mary (Loughner) Geary. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Ronald Bracken; and brother, Kenneth Geary. Survived by husband, William R. Horner; children, Sharon (Robert Weaver); Kenneth Bracken (Paula); James Bracken (Lisa); and Rhonda (Dr. Donald Lowry); stepchildren, Kim (Stephen Balamuta); Robert W. Horner (Laura); and Karen (Steven Futch); and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, where she was active in the altar guild, choir, and women's club. She was a member of the Johnstown Garden Club. Friends received 2-4PM Sunday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Funeral service will be held 10AM Monday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
