Donna L. (Moore) Unger

Donna L. Unger, 83, Johnstown, died December 9, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 8, 1938 in Johnstown. Daughter of Elno D and Ruth V. (Richardson) Moore. Preceded in death by parents, husband Richard E., sisters Vera Allison and Carol Shaffer, brothers Fred and Robert Moore, grand daughter Jessica Unger. Survived by loving children, Greg (Nancy Kintz), Doug (Deanna Custer), Gina Herrera, Dennis Unger, grandchildren Melissa, Ryan, Ashley, Jason, Daniel, Bobbi, Jordan, Samuel, Sadie and Molly, great grandchildren Kiara, Bodhi, Franki, Lainey, Dylan, Ariah, Tony, Lillian, sisters Virginia Sell, Doris Turnbull, Phyllis Ream, Judy Sellers, brother Dennis Moore, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She had very special neighbors, Matt and Tina Potter, who would watch out for her and spend time on the porch chatting. She was a member of The Journey Church. She loved gardening, cooking, shopping and jigsaw puzzles. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her family. She was grateful to be a cancer survivor. Friends will be received Monday from 4-7 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am, Pastor Ray Streets. Entombment Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
