Dewey D. Lehman, "Buzz", 92, Indiana, died October 5, 2023 at The Fountains at Indiana. Born April 29, 1931 in Windber, PA. Son of George D. and Mary Margaret (Weaver) Lehman. Preceded in death by parents; siblings Violet Sacra, Evelyn Williams, Twila Kibsey, Marjorie Felton and Roberta Neuhoff. Survived by loving wife of 68 years, Lois "Jeanne" (Moore); children Bret W. (Pam), Jennifer J. (Dale Short); grandchildren Melissa A. Kochuk (Brian), Christopher M. Lehman, Connor D. Short, Lindsay E. Lehman, Spenser T. (Amiranda) Short, Parker Z. Short; great grandchildren Charlie Kochuk and Owen Short; sister Mary Ellen Forsha; also, numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Bethany Presbyterian church where he was an Elder. He had over 40 years of service at the Tribune-Democrat, Past president of the American Cancer Society of Cambria County, board member of Goodwill Industries. U.S. Army Veteran. Graduate of UPJ. Avid Penn State fan, he was a season ticket holder for 31 years. The family would like to thank The Fountains at Indiana and 365 Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to him. Friends will be received Monday from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 228 Blaine Street, Johnstown, Denise Todero, officiating. Private Entombment Grandview Mausoleum, where military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 155. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church or 365 Hospice. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
