Delores A. (Schofield) Barron

Delores A.Barron (Schofield) 80, of Johnstown, entered God's heavenly kingdom July 14, 2025 at the Arbutus Park Manor. Born on September 9, 1944, in Johnstown, daughter of Hurst Woods Schofield and Mary (James). Preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter who she missed deeply everyday since his passing in 2011. Brother Marvin Schofield and his wife Maria (Panasiti). Survived by children Shelly, married to Raymond Marsh, Nicktown; and Troy, married to the former Carrie Baumgardner, Johnstown. Four grandchildren, Heather Marsh (Charles Hropovich) who she will be uniting in marriage on August 2nd, Evan Marsh married to the former Lucy Lee, Kavay (Barron) Thatcher married to Tanner, and Kendall Barron. Delores also known to many as "Dee" was always known for her caring heart and love of cooking and decorating. Delores loved family and friends who we would like to thank for always checking in on her over the years. Knowing that she has been reunited with Peter and not suffering anymore gives us all some peace. Friends received 4-6PM Thursday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where a prayer service will be offered at 6PM. Private entombment at Grandview Mausoleum.
