Deanna D. (Dickert) Kauffman

Deanna D. Kauffman, 87, Johnstown, died December 5, 2024 at Heritage Ridge Personal Care Center. Born June 26, 1937 in Johnstown, daughter of Robert E. and Vera E. (Callen) Dickert. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Robert; and former husband and friend, Kenneth Kauffman. Survived by children, Daniel (Marcie); and Jill Kocsis (Eric); grandchildren, Zackary, Katrina, and Lucas Kauffman, Tyler Kocsis and Jordan Kocsis (Abbay). She retired with 41 years of service as a registered nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department at Conemaugh Hospital where she was a much loved nurse, delivering thousands of babies. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Deanna enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafting. She especially loved to make cards and was not afraid to explore new technology while doing so.. Most of all, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She was a graduate of the former Dale High School, Class of 1955. Friends received 3-6PM Monday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held 10AM Tuesday with Pastor Toby Holland officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
