Daniel Matas, 87, Masury, OH formerly of Johnstown, died July2, 2021 at Addison Health Care. Born February 15, 1934, in Johnstown, son of Karl and Mary (Rusnak) Matas. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Joseph, John, Karl, David and Albert; and sisters, Mildred Burda, and Mary Fabry. Survived by siblings, Paul (Esther); Raymond (Elaine); Ronald (Judy); Donald (Barbara); Ruth Oravec; Caroline Britten (Robert); Dorothy Marley (John); and Martha Fabick (Raymond); and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received Thursday from 10 until the hour of service at 11AM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., with Pastor Jeffrey Matas officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery
