Coreen Y. (Lightner) Fenton

Coreen Y. Fenton, “Connie”, 84, Johnstown, died August 6, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 10, 1934, York, PA, daughter of the late Nathan and Edith (Sowers) Lightner. Preceded in death by husband, Donald; children, Thomas, David, Donald, Jr., and Ann Keffer; sisters, Deloris Havner, Donna Jean Baublitz, Hilda Anderson, and Ruth Anstine;  brothers, William, and Frank Figdore; and sons-in-law, Randy Schmalz and Gary Trent. Survived by children, Carol Schmalz, Coreen Trent, and Timothy (Terri Hunt); daughter-in-law, Mary Fenton; son-in-law, Alan Keffer; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. By request there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Peter Nordlund officiating. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.
