GAVIN- Constance "Connie", 82 Conemaugh. Passed away on August 30, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 11, 1943 in Johnstown. Daughter of Lee and Gladys (Goodwin) Witkosky. Preceded in death by parents, stepmother Frances Elizabeth "Betty" (Gates), husband John Gavin Jr., son Joseph Stroscio, siblings Arlene Roland, Gary Witkosky, and Jim Witkosky, and stepbrother David Horton. Survived by daughter, Maria Stroscio of Johnstown; mama's grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kaylee Stroscio and Isabella Stroscio, Keiara Triplie, Kaysen Triplie and Khaliq Triplie; siblings, Shirley Duvall of Lancaster and Frances Freeman (Cliff) of Johnstown; beloved daughter-in-law, Elaine Jarvis; sisters-in-law Nancy (Stroscio) Haney, Betty Ann Witkosky, and Marie Witkosky; and special friends, Sandy Vargo and Patsy Drobnick. Beloved and active member of Second Presbyterian Church, where she was an Elder. She retired from Unishippers. Friends will be received on September 20, 2025, from 10:00 until time of memorial service at 12:00 at the Second Presbyterian Church. Pastor Art Moffat, officiating. John Henderson Co.
