Connie Jo McClain

Connie Jo McClain, 77, Johnstown, passed away August 15, 2024, at her residence. Born March 12, 1947, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Donald W. Sr. and Mary Jo (Crist) McClain. Survived by brother, Tim S. McClain (Lynn) and nephews, Scott E. (Sara) and Brendan C. all of California. She was a member of Franklin Street Church. Connie helped manage the Gift Shop at Arbutus Park Manor through her volunteer work. She belonged to Arbutus Auxiliary, Delta Kappa Gamma for 50 years, Art League, National Education Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association, Pennsylvania School Librarians Association and Cambria County Library Board. She retired from the Johnstown High School after 36 years as a teacher and librarian. At Connie's request, services will be private. Donations may be made to the Arbutus Park Manor Auxiliary in her memory. Interment Richland Cemetery. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
