FREIWALD- Christopher M., 66, Johnstown. Passed away November 11, 2024 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born April 9, 1958 in Johnstown. Son of the late William and Shirley (Englehart) Freiwald. Survived by wife of 46 years, Becky (Deist); daughters, Christa Newton (Gerry), Mandi Cutler (Curt), Beth DiGuardi (Sam) and Lindsay Rypczyk (A.J.); grandchildren, Addy, Makayla, Bria, Rylee, Zoe, Drew, Elliott, Rosalyn, Lena and Ryan; siblings, Jim (Barbara Saia), Bill (Sara Hoyland) and Joyce Freiwald; and nieces and nephews. Member of St. Clement Church. Avid Steelers, Penguins and Notre Dame fan. He was a soccer coach for numerous teams and paramedic for several ambulance services in the area. Retired from Penn Machine Co. Friends will be received Thursday from 4-7 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 11:00 at St. Clement Church.
