Charles Schenkemeyer

Charles Schenkemeyer, 65, Johnstown, died May 16, 2021 in Potter County. He was born December 31, 1955 in Johnstown, son of Jay and Sara (McClemens) Schenkemeyer-Rodkey. Preceded in death by parents; and step father, Charles Rodkey. Survived by wife, Mary Ann (Stem); children, Zachary (Katherine Mancuso); and Mandy; grandsons, Marshall and Grant; brothers, Rick (Karen Maher); and Kurt (Krissy Leibfreid); father-in-law and mother-in-law James and Patricia Stem; in-laws, James Stem, Daniel Stem, Kathy (Joseph Abramowich); and Robert Stem (Melissa Jakab). He was retired from the Department of Environmental Protection with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed being a wonderful “Pap-Pap” to his grandsons. He was an avid fisherman and softball player. Friends received Thursday 4-7PM Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Masks are required by those attending. A private graveside service will be held at Richland Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
