Charles H. Rummel

Charles H. Rummel Jr., 83, Johnstown, died March 15, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 8, 1938 in Johnstown. Son of Charles H. Sr. and Jean (Mills) Rummel. Preceded in death by parents; wife Lynda E. (Howard); brother Harold Rummel and brother-in-law Ray Fowler. Survived by children; Gregory married to Leslie and Kimberly Melachrinos; grandchildren Rebecca Allison married to Justin Serre, Zachary David Rummel; sister Lois Fowler, also, nieces and nephews Christine Hackett and Kenneth Fowler. Charles was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the U.A.L.U #354 Pipe Fitters Union. The great outdoors was where he enjoyed spending his time, especially with his grandson Zach, fishing. He enjoyed gathering with friends and family for a meal. Friends will be received on Friday from 3:00-7:00 PM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Friends will also be received Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1348 Virginia Ave, Johnstown. Private inurnment at Stahl Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in Charles name.
