HASELRIG- Carlton Lee, 54, Johnstown. Passed away at home on July 22, 2020. Born January 22, 1966 in Johnstown. Son of the late Fred T. Haselrig Sr. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Michelle (Halbritter); children Jordan and Jade both from Atlanta, Cortez, Demetrius, Trey, Cantara, Carlton Jr., and Carlee Haselrig all from Johnstown; grandchildren Nyasia and Liam; siblings Harold Gethers of Allentown, Nadine Newell of Ohio, Alicia Haselrig and Fred Jr. both of Johnstown. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was inducted into the PA Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame, National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame, District Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame, NCAA Division 2 Wrestling Hall of Fame and University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Athletics Hall of Fame. Carlton played five years, in the NFL, as an offensive lineman (four years for the Steelers and one year for the Jets.) In 1992, he made the NFL Pro Bowl. Also,he was a MMA champion, founder of Cold Steel Mat Club and Greater Johnstown High School wrestling and football coach. Not only was he a University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown graduate, he was a six time NCAA Wrestling Champion as a heavyweight. Friends will be received from 1:00pm until 6:00pm on Wednesday at Emmanuel Church. (Due to COVID19 MANDATES- Social Distancing and Masks are required.) A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday at Trojan Stadium. Rev. Kirk Rowland, Rev. Theodore Tisinger and Rev. Sam Scales will be officiating. Rev. Clyde Williams is the eulogist.
