Beverly Bell (Harker) Furniss, 90, Johnstown, died April 3, 2026 at The Villages of Hilltop Heights. Born December 17, 1935 in West Carroll Twp., daughter of Ira P. and Matilda G (McKinney) Harker. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Malcom G.; and siblings, Leonard (Anna) Harker; Maletha (James) Davies; Betty (Stanley) Applegate; Lillian (Charles) Spiker; Audrey (Richard) Lambert; Elaine (Sanford) Hess; and Arnold (Anna) Harker. Survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. Beverly lived a full life, working at Monarch and volunteering at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. She loved spending time with her beloved husband and missed him deeply after he passed. She was a dedicated church member and enjoyed poetry and music. She played the organ. She liked to make people laugh, being silly, and calling herself a crazy old lady in her later years. She will be missed. A huge thanks goes to the staff at The Villages of Hilltop Heights for making her feel safe, comfortable, and loved the last few years of her life. The family appreciates the care given to her. Friends received Wednesday from 10AM until the hour of service at 11AM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
