Betty Misler Obituary

Betty Misler, 100, Johnstown, died April 7, 2024 at McCullough Place. Born September 13, 1923 in Johnstown, daughter of Louis and Frances (Borabek) Berman. Preceded in death by parents; husband Isadore "Naz"; and sisters, Bernie, Thelma, Rita, Jane, Harriet, and Dorothy. Survived by children. Michael ( and partner, Jean Hartz); A. Jeffrey (Arlene); Laurel L Kessler; Lisa Israeli (Moti); and Hala Peniazek; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was the co-founder of the former Richland and Westmont Lanes, and proprietor of Red Top Markets. A graveside service will be held 10AM Tuesday at Rodef Sholom Cemetery with Rabbi Lenny Sarko officiating. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
