Betty Lou Hay "Aunt B", 93, died July 2, 2020 at Cambria Care Center. Born February 9, 1927 in Hysota PA. Daughter of Walter and Viola (O'Baker) Hay. Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Frances Hostetler, Robert, Richard, Wendell, Ernest, Earl Hay and Phyllis Fockler; nephews, Rick Hay, Roger Hostetler, Barry Hostetler and niece Bobbi Fockler. Aunt B was the last surviving member of her 8 siblings. Survived by nieces and nephews, Brenda Fockler, Patti (Robert Stayrook), Scott Fockler (Beth), Wendy (Art Rex), Todd Fockler (Dorice), Allen (Bonnie) Hostetler, David (Kathleen) Hostetler, Harry Tessler, Cheryl Beber,, Pamela Hay, Also survived by great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and one great-great-great nephew. She was a former member of Park Ave. United Methodist Church. A 1944 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Former employee at U.M.W.A. District 2 and also the Johnstown office for many years. She retired from Metropolitan Life. She was known fondly as the "Hat Lady". At her request all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment Jenners Crossroads Cemetery. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
