Beth Ann Cassidy, 70, Johnstown, died January 25, 2023 at home. Born June 9, 1952 in Johnstown, daughter of Albert and Betty Cruickshank. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Garry; sister, Diane Drzal; nephew, Sean Cruickshank; in-laws, Von and Shirley Cassidy; and brothers-in-law Mark and Mike Cassidy. Survived by children, 1st Sgt. Eric Cassidy, US Army; and Shannon Cassidy (Brad); granddaughter, Shaylah Frederick; great grandsons Aden Gage and Achilles Joseph; brother, Scott Cruickshank (Jenny Hemminger); special niece, Caitlin Cruickshank; very special friends, Carol Pasquerilla, Sue Deist, Ellen Dixon, and her "Girl Gang of friends; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Ferndale High School. She worked for GTE, Safari, and retired from D. Edward Leasing. The family extends a heart-felt thank you to Dr. Sebeitan and his team, and home health nurses Carol and Melissa for their wonderful care given to Beth. By request there will be no viewing. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Medical Oncology Cancer Center at Memorial Medical Center.
