BRENNSTEINER- Bernadine, 88, Johnstown. Passed away October 27, 2024 at home. Born April 18, 1936 in Masontown. Daughter of Stanley and Stella (Kolasa) Blout. Preceded in death by parents, stepmother Ann Zamiska Blout, husband Ernest Sr., and infant grandson Kenneth Hrapchak. Survived by children, Ernest Jr. "Ernie" (Patricia), James (Elin), Stephanie Mical (Jim), and Amy Marsh (Leo); grandchildren, Alex, Aaron (Tania), Daniel, Leah and Julia Brennsteiner, Kaitlin White (Rod), James and Nicholas Mical and Mitchell Hrapchak (Maddy); great grandchildren, Aiden, Lucia and Freya Brennsteiner; siblings, Joseph "Stush" Blout, Father Daniel Blout, Charlotte Pisula, and Bernadette "Bernie" Sloan; nieces, nephews and cousins, and special friends Betty and Ron. Devout catholic, a current member St. Benedict Church and former member of St. Clement Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and pinochle and being with her grandchildren. Retired from Riverside Markets (bakery/deli). Friends will be received 4-7 Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Concelebrated funeral mass will be held 10:00 Thursday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church with Father David Peles and Father Daniel Blout. Committal at St. Joseph Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the healthcare workers that cared for their mother. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Bernadine's memory.
