Barbara A. (Polochak) Witprachtiger

Barbara A. Witprachtiger, 84, Ferndale, died August 27, 2021 at UPMC  Presbyterian Hospital.  Born June 24, 1937 in Johnstown, daughter of Michael and Anna (Hanak) Polochak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James; brothers. Robert, Sr., and Joseph in infancy. Survived by children, Christine (Todd Berkey); Heidi (Eugene Trio); and James; granddaughters, Sara and Meredith Trio; sister-in-law, Theresa Polochak; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Christian Church, and a retired switch board operator from the former Mercy Hospital. By request, there will be no public viewing. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2PM at Grandview Cemetery with The Very Rev. Miles P. Zdinak. Arrangements are by John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.
