Audrey L. (Orris) Hunt

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Audrey went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Johnstown, PA on December 5. 1925, daughter of Milton and Pearl (Smith) Orris. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert W. Hunt, both parents, and her siblings, Milton Jr. (Bud), Richard, John, and Robert (KIA in Korea), also two infant children, an unnamed son and daughter Patricia. She is survived by three daughters: Colleen (married to Robert Horner), Beverly (married to Harry Plows), and Sharon (married to James Yount). Also 7 grand-children, 8 great-grand-children, and 7 great-great-grand-children.
Audrey attended Ferndale Area High School, but graduated from Johnstown High School. During WWII she worked in a munition factory for the war effort. She was a housewife, girl scout leader and later in life worked as a ward clerk at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. She and her husband then retired to Florida.
Arrangements made by John Henerson Company Funeral Home. No public viewing, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
