Anthony M. Melotti, “Tony”, 93, Johnstown, passed peacefully in the loving arms of his wife on May 1, 2019, at Home. Born January 22, 1926, in Lilly, son of Francis and Julia Melotti. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Morris, James, and Joseph; and sisters, Antoinette Kordish, and Shirley Macidyn; and daughter, Sharon Mathieson. Survived by wife of 34 years, Mary (Bailey); children, Kenneth Adams, Phelan, CA; Mark Jimick, Missoula, MO; and daughter Tammy Myers, Johnstown; grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Amber, and Chrissy; great grandchildren,Seraphine, Cala, and Lauren; brother, Frank, Mentor, OH; sister, Mary Crynock, Portage; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, family members, and close family friends. Tony was World War II US Navy veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post 430, and Moxham PNA. He was a Pennsylvania coal miner, and talented salesman. He enjoyed dancing and wrestling. He danced into our lives bringing joy, laughter and love. Friends received 2-6PM Sunday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where funeral service will be held Monday at 11am. Military rite will be conducted at the funeral home by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team, following the service.
