Annie Elizabeth (Hollingsworth) Howell

Annie Elizabeth Howell, "Betty", "Liz", 97, Johnstown, died February 1, 2026 at Richland Health Care. Born June 13, 1928 in Atlanta GA, daughter of Alonzo and Rosa Hollingsworth. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Herbert; sons, Richard and Walter; grandchildren, Jason Howell, and Melissa Livingston; and son-in-law, Richard Fox. Survived by children, Mabel Fox, Johnstown; Rose (George Livingston), Bethel; and James, Pine Grove; daughter-in-law, Karen (Gray) Howell; and several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She worked in the cafeteria at Westmont High School. The family extends heart-felt thankyou to Asera Care Hospice, and special thanks to the staff at Richland Health Care for loving and caring for "Grandma". To Bobbi, Faith, and Aaliyah, thank you for making Betty feel special; and to Bianca, thank you for being an angel to "your girl" to very end. All of you are truly appreciated. Betty enjoyed spending time with her friend Ben. She will be missed by so many friends and family. By request, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held 11AM Saturday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.
