AnnaMarie (Smith) Pfeil

PFEIL, AnnaMarie (Smith), 93, Johnstown. Passed away April 22, 2025. Born March 30, 1932 in Brownstown. Daughter of the Stephen and Anna (Kral) Smith. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 52 years, LeRoy W. Jr., infant son Kenneth, sisters Betty Lou, Genevieve (Daniel) Macy, Evelyn Smith, brothers, Stephen, Clement (Judy), and Donald Smith. Survived by loving son, Raymond (James Luther) of Key West, FL and loving daughter, Barbara (Robert E. "Rupe" Karalfa) of Johnstown; most beloved grandson, Adam Karalfa (Julia Myers); precious great granddaughter Kensley Marie; sister, Mildred Povich; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; special friends, especially Flo and Dick Cowan and the Cowan family. AnnaMarie worked at National Radiator billing department and retired from Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Pharmacy Department. She enjoyed dancing, bus trips to casinos, and being part of the Silver Sneakers. Member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Visitation of the B.V.M. Church Choir for 50 years. Friends will be received Friday from 3-7 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 at Visitation of the B.V.M. Church. Father William Rosenbaum and Monsignor Michael Becker, officiating. Committal at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Visitation of the B.V.M. Church or St. Clement Church.
