Anna Mae (Ocipa) Faight

Anna Mae Faight, 92, Conemaugh, died February 11, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born December 14, 1931, in Johnstown. Daughter of John and Anna (Demko) Ocipa. Preceded in death by parents, husband Glenn Faight, sisters Irene Waligora, Margaret Rosenbaum and brother Edward Ocipa. Survived by children John Robert Faight (Tamara Novak) and Melissa Bizyak; grandchildren Ian Faight, Markus and Mason Bizyak; sisters Rita Waligora and Diane Espey. She was a member of the Church of Transfiguration where she was very active within the ladies guild. She graduated from Conemaugh High School where she loved performing in musicals, she had a beautiful voice. During high school she was also involved in volleyball, basketball and the drama club. She was an avid Bingo player. Above all, she was known for her kindness and love for her family. Friends will be received Thursday from 11-1 at Henderson Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 1st Street. A funeral mass will be held at 1:30 at Church of Transfiguration, Fr. William Rosenbaum, officiating. Interment Sacred Heart Church Cemetery. Henderson Makuchan Funeral Home is serving the family.
