Sherbine, Anna C., 86, of Johnstown, Pa., passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026 at the Villa Crest. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Torina. Anna was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and loyal friend. Her gentle nature, warmth, kindness and infectious laughter touched everyone who knew her. Anna treasured her family and friends. Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, M. Wayne Sherbine, who remained forever in her heart throughout the years that followed. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on family and friends. Anna is survived by her sister, Joey (Torina) Klanchar: her sister-in-law, Patricia (Sherbine) Drenner; her sons, Mark Sherbine, and wife Janine; Matthew Sherbine, and wife Karen; her grandsons, Michael and Matthew Sherbine; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Raised in Prospect and later Moxham, Anna graduated from Johnstown High School and Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital Nursing School. She enjoyed a long career as a Registered Nurse and made countless friends among those she worked with until she retired to travel and spend more time with her grandsons, family and friends. She was a long-time member of the Moxham Church of the Brethren. Family and friends will be received at John Henderson Co.
