FRICK- Amelia, 90, Johnstown. Passed away September 23, 2021 at Windber Hospice. Born Oct.12, 1930 in Johnstown. Daughter of Joseph and Amelia (Smerc) Plantan. Preceded in death by parents, husband Bernard F., son Bernard F. II, sister Mary Bodling, brother Frank and an infant brother. Survived by children Joe married to Diana (Gielarowski) of Pittsburgh and Barbara married to Kirk Zack of Laurel, MD; daughter-in-law Carole Frick; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother Edward of Linwood, NJ; and special friend Bob Carrol of Smethport, PA. Member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral and American Legion Aux. 976. Amelia enjoyed polka dancing, gardening, and baking. Friends will be received from 5-8 on Monday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 on Tuesday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral. Father Matthew Baum, officiating. Committal at Grandview Cemetery.
