Albert Caples Obituary

Albert W. Caples, Jr., 88, Johnstown, died October 8, 2021 at St. Jude Haven. Born August 18, 1933, son of Albert W. Caples, Sr. and Sara L (Cope) Stager. Preceded in death by parents; stepfather, Carl Stager; wife Ruth M. (Ewel); and son, Richard. Survived by children, Sara Malcom, Patty Horner, and Michael (Ruth Miller); 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10AM at Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh, with Chaplain James Yates officiating.
