Adalbert J. Waligora

Adalbert J. Waligora, Jr., 85, Conemaugh, died November 29, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 20, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY, son of Adalbert, Sr. and Bertha (Schrockman) Waligora. Preceded in death by parents; and father and mother-in-law, John and Anna Ocipa. Survived by wife, Rita (Ocipa); son, Bert; and daughter Denise; 2 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Brother of Barbara (Thomas Serokman). He was a member of Church of the Transfiguration, and was retired from Johnstown Bank and Trust as the senior vice-president of the commercial loans department. He served in the US Army. Friends received 3-7PM Thursday at Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Concelebrated funeral mass will be held Friday at 11AM at Church of the Transfiguration with Father William Rosenbaum and Father Robert C. Hall. Committal, Sacred Heart Cemetery.
