William J. McNeal "Mac", 78, Windber, died October 17,2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 6, 1941 in Johnstown, son of Charles A. and Bertha A. (Spitko) McNeal. Preceded in death by parents, sister Mary and her husband Peter Ludwig. Survived by wife of 56 years Elsie (Wyandt); children William J. married to Zoe (Kushto), Jeffrey C. married to Joy (Chappell); grandchildren Jude A., Jillian R., and his "best buddy" Jared W.; sister Dorothy married to William Fochtman and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Elton Sportsmans Club and the NRA. Mac loved to hunt and tinker in his workshop. Former employee of Bethlehem Steel and RTI. Friends will be received Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 PM at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills 2503 Bedford Street, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am, Pastor Tom Moore. Entombment Richland Cemetery.
