William Adamchak

William Adamchak, 96, Conemaugh, died September 1, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 19, 1922, in Conemaugh, son of Nicholas and Salomia (Mikulak) Adamchak. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Andrew, Walter, John, Boris and Peter; and sisters, Olga Bradley, and Mary Stelmack. Survived by sisters, Pearl Slavik and Helen Polding; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, and a US Army veteran of World War II, and US Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. Friends received noon until time of service at 1:30PM Monday at Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh, with Very Rev. Archpriest George Johnson. Interment, church cemetery, where military rite will be conducted by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
