SANDOVAL- Victor C. Sr.; 73, Johnstown. Passed away May 11, 2019 at Windber Hospice, with his loving daughters Tammy and Crystal by his side. Born December 6, 1945 in Johnstown. Son of Manuel and Mary (Dias) Sandoval. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Manny, sisters Ida Magwick and Hope Furfari, grandson Adam Sandoval and lifelong friend Gordon Wilcox. Survived by his wife Carol (Knapek); children Tammy Sandoval (Dan) of Johnstown, Victor Sandoval Jr. (Megan) of Johnstown, Crystal Sandoval of Florida, Jason Sandoval (Deb) of Florida, Teri Shaffer of Florida, Alisha Kromer (Chris) of Johnstown, and Johnny Giddons of Johnstown; 24 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; siblings Connie Furfari (John), James Sandoval (Sue), and Frank Sandoval (Renee); brother-in-law Tom Furfari; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends Chris Martin and Joni Weaver. Owner of V&L Painting in Florida before returning to Johnstown and working for Med Van Transport until his passing. Victor was loved by many and did not die a lonely old man.
