Shirley J. (Keslar) Wendell

Shirley J. Wendell, 87, Richland, passed peacefully September 16, 2019 at home surrounded by family. Born October 14, 1931, in Blough, daughter of Daryl and Mary (Adams) Keslar. Preceded in death by parents; and husband, Richard. Survived by children, Marsha (Denny Reed); Denise (Gary Rager) and Richard Wendell, II (Christine). Shirley was grandmother to 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. Sister of Debbie Harris; Yvonne (Bob Dernar); Linda Novitsky; and Marilyn (Larry McCann). She enjoyed golfing, bowling, painting and playing pinochle with her card club ladies. Friends received 4-7PM Thursday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. where funeral service will be held 11AM Friday with Pastor Len Findley officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
