Richard Norman, Jr.

Richard Norman, Jr., 63, Johnstown, died December 21, 2017, at home. Born January 16, 1954, in Camden, NJ, son of Richard, Sr. and Charlotte (Phelps) Norman. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Sharon (Brockelman); brother, Gary; and brother-in-law, Phil Brysten. Survived by sons, Richard, III (Amber); Christopher (Louise); and Shane (Megan); and 11 grandchildren. Brother of Tracy (Tammy); and Carmen Brysten. Richard served in the Us Army, and was also a USMC Vietnam Era veteran.  Friends received from 3pm until the hour of service at 6pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., with Pastor Jim Gay officiating. Military rite will be conducted by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the family.
