Richard J. Krstyen, 82, Johnstown, died October 24, 2018, at Windber Hospice. He was born April 9, 1936, in Johnstown, son of the late John and Mary (Kondash) Krstyen. He was preceded in death by brother, John Krstyen; sisters, Helen Schaum and Marie Cassidy; canine companions, Jette, Brandy, and Sparky; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anna Marie (Cambeiro) Krstyen; and son, Richard Krstyen, Jr., and wife, Deborah, Mentor, OH; brother, Robert and friend, Mary Ellen, Chicopee, MA; brothers-in-law Ray Cambeiro (Dorothy), and Rudy Gasser; sister-in-law, Luella Luczko; and numerous nieces and nephews. He retired as an electrical power system foreman from Bethlehem Steel Corporation with 43 years of service. Richard was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He enjoyed boating, fishing and RV camping at Geneva-on- the Lake in Ohio. Friends received from 1 until 3pm Sunday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Graveside service will be private.
