Patricia Ann (Murphy) Martin

Martin-Patricia Ann (Murphy), 84, of Johnstown, died June 24, 2017 at the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber Pa. Born March 15, 1933 in Nanty Glo, Pa., daughter of Dennis and Phoebe (Seth) Murphy. Preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Richard Martin Sr.; great grandson, Carrick Dempsey Martin; sisters, Vivian Murton, Shirley McGeever; and brother Jack Murphy. She is survived by her children, Karen wife of Bruce Niessner; Richard Jr, married to Rita Maier; Kathleen married to Thomas Peters; Kimberly married to Bruce Krouse, all of Johnstown; and Kelly married to Edward Stinnette Jr. of Strasburg, Virginia; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also survived brother, Dennis Michael Murphy of Livonia Michigan; sister, Barbara married to Phillip Boltz of Johnstown; and 4 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law. Friends and family received from 2-8 pm, Tuesday 6/27/17 at  John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral mass  will be held Wednesday 6/28/17 at 10:00 am at St Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, with Fr.  David Peles as celebrant. Committal, Grandview Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in mom’s memory to Church of the Brethren Home or Windber Hospice
