Patricia A. (Cartwright) Barnhart

Patricia A. Barnhart, 74, Johnstown, died September 24, 2017, at her home. She was born September 22, 1943, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Leo and Catherine (Cole) Cartwright. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar “Barney” Barnhart; a brother, William PFC, and a great granddaughter, Heaven. She is survived by her children, Janet Bishop, and husband, Charles; Jeanne Skovensky, and husband, Rick; and Jeffrey Barnhart, and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Jennifer, Branden, Crystal, Todd, Steven, Nathan, Ian, Aaron, Carrie, Adam, and Jessica; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; brother, Frederick, sister, Criss, and husband, John Harwick; brother, Kevin, and wife, Kathy; and sister, Karen, and husband, Tim Pillow; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She was a member of Church of the Visitation of the BVM, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, a Lector, Sacristan, Altar Server, Confirmation Instructor, and was a member of the Legion of Mary and the CCD. She had worked as an accountant at both Mercy Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Church of the Visitation of the BVM, Rev. William E. Rosenbaum, celebrant. Entombment, Grandview Cemetery.
