Olga (Sidorik) Blanar

Olga Blanar, passed away December 30, 2018. Born July 26, 1925 in Conemaugh, daughter of Peter and Mary Sidorik. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Ann; brother, John; infant brother Michael and infant twin sisters, Eva and Pearl. Survived by children, Joyce (David) Kreiger, Nancy Tursic and John (Marcia Packech); grandchildren, Michelle Nichols, Rebecca Schafer, Jennifer(Michael) Lillard, Jonathan (Lauren) Blanar and Jenna Blanar; great grandchildren, Alexandra and Ava Schafer, Jackson and Graham Blanar, Cameron Lillard; sister-in-law, Alice. Member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church. 1943 graduate of Conemaugh High School. Former employee of Penn Traffic. Retired from YWCA as financial analyst. Friends received Wednesday from 2-7 pm at Henderson Makuchan Funeral Home 434 First Street, Conemaugh, where Parastas will be sung at 6:00 pm. Funeral begins at 8:45 am Thursday with a brief service at the funeral home and continuing immediately to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church with Very Rev. Arch Priest George Johnson. Interment parish cemetery.
