Mary B. (Barnitz) Wagner

Mary B. Wagner, 106, Greensburg, formerly of Johnstown, died February 22, 2018, at Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Greensburg. She was born February 13, 1912, in Johnstown, daughter of the late William J. and Catherine (Helman) Barnitz. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Wagner; granddaughter, Deborah J. Johnson; brothers, Thomas and Charles Barnitz, and Charles Miller;  sister, Helen Gindlesperger; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Wagner. She is survived by her son, William C. Wagner, Berkley, MI; daughter, Janet L. Myers, and husband, Christopher, Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Moxham Lutheran Church. She was a candy maker, a former cosmetologist, and a graduate of Ferndale High School. Friends will be received Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at noon at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., the Rev. Phyllis Diamond, officiating.
