Mary Bango

Mary Bango, 95, Johnstown, died October 27, 2017 at Richland Health Care and Rehabilitation. Born August 1, 1922, in East Conemaugh, daughter of Wasil and Anastasia ( Charnonich) Bango. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Charles, John, and George, and sisters, Mary and Margaret in infancy; Ann Popovich, Helen Popovich, and Susan Curry. Survived by sister, Julia Holtzman; and sister-in-law, Katherine Bango; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a long time waitress at Penn Traffic. By request there will be no viewing. Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday at 10am at Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church with Father Robert Oravetz, as celebrant. Interment, church cemetery.
