Martina M. (Heidenthal) Lowes

Martina M. Lowes, 85, Johnstown, died May 27, 2018, at her home. She was born April 1, 1933, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Wilbert R. and Freda (Rapp) Heidenthal. She was preceded in death by her special friend, Charles E. Layton. She is survived by her children, Claudia, Paul, Leslie Adams, and husband, James; and Heidi; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and sister, Pauline Terek. She was a member of the Austrian Hall, was an avid bowler and loved fishing. She retired from the former Sani-Dairy. There will be no public visitation. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, Very Rev. James F. Crookston, celebrant. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
