Martha Ruth Dibert, 95, Johnstown, passed away April 15, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 25, 1924, in Hopewell Twp., Bedford County, daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Creps) Clapper. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Fred R.; brother, Horace; and sisters, Roberta Shaffer, Eleanor Strack, Juliet, Edith Stern, Janet Dilling, and Alice Bennett. Survived by daughters, Carolyn (Robert Lynch) and Jennifer, both of Johnstown; grandsons, Ian and Caleb Lynch, both of Pittsburgh, brother, Joseph Clapper, Jr., Bedford; and sister, Lucy Carberry, Camp Hill. Martha attended Arbutus Church of the Brethren, where she taught pre-school for a number of years. She was employed by Sears, Gee Bee Furniture, and K Mart from where she retired. Martha enjoyed reading, bird watching, playing scrabble, dominos, and pinochle, baking cookies, and especially spending time with her grandsons, whom she adored. She was a woman of great faith and love, and will be deeply missed by her family. By request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be private. Entombment, Richland Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St.
