SROKA – Marion “Sally”, 90, Johnstown, died, March 12, 2018 at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber. Born December 22, 1927, in Johnstown, Pa. Daughter of Susan (Boback) and Harry W. Englehart. Preceded in death by husband Deacon John E. Sroka, parents; brothers Harry, Thomas, Donald, brother-in-law Donald Houghton, sisters-in-law Mary Visnick, Helen Stofko, Margaret DeRubis, and Elizabeth Sabo. Survived by daughters Leslie Webb, State College; Karen Sroka, Windber; Susan Shaffer, married to Darrell Shaffer, Minneapolis, MN; and son David Sroka, married to Elsa (Santini), Denver, CO; grandchildren, Joshua Sroka and wife Melissa, Johnstown; Dr. Matthew Sroka, and wife Karyssa, Johnstown; Rebecca Webb and husband Aneesh Kudekar, Campbell, CA; Elena Shaffer, Minneapolis, MN; Rose Shaffer, Minneapolis, MN; Lucy Sroka, Denver, CO; Ethan Sroka, Denver, CO, and great grandson Harrison Sroka. Also survived by brother Charles Englehart and wife Wanda, Rockwood; sister Carol Houghton, Johnstown; brother James Englehart and wife Mary Kay, Fayetteville; sisters-in-law, Nancy Englehart, Johnstown; Ruth Englehart, Johnstown, Dolores Garson, York, and Dorothy Frick, Davidsville; numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. A 1945 graduate of Johnstown High School and member of the Church of the Visitation, Johnstown, where a memorial mass will be said at a later date.
In addition to her faith and family, Marion valued friendships – from school, church, marriage, business life, Red Hats Club, Greystone Court Villa and Richland Woods where she last resided.

At her request, private viewing for family only. Friends and family received from 6 to 8 PM Friday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Funeral liturgy outside of Mass, 10 AM Saturday, Church of the Visitation, Deacon Scott Little.
