Marian (Davidorf) Neuman

Marian Neuman, 103, San Diego, formerly of Johnstown, died September 15, 2018. Born April 10, 1915, in Ohio, daughter of David and Isabel (Markowitz) Davidorf. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George; brother, Martin; and grandson, Mark. Survived by sons, Richard (Barbara), New York; and Dr. Barry (Ellen), San Diego; granddaughters Julie, Andrea, and Alison; and 8 great grandchildren. Marian graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in English. She worked with her husband at Neuman’s Drug Store in Moxham. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, golfing, and traveling. She translated braille for the Library of Congress for the sight impaired. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018, at noon at Rodef Sholom Cemetery, with Rabbi Irvin Brandwein officiating.
