Lois Jean (Kessler) Block

Lois Jean Block, 84, Johnstown, died March 7, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 11, 1934 in Johnstown, daughter of Andrew and Alma (Varner) Kessler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Herbert Block; son, Todd Block. Survived by daughter, Robin married to Nick Gvozdich; grandchildren, Sara married to Luke Horton, Andrew Block and fiancé Raeanne Figard; great grandson, Jude Horton; sister, Dorothy Wissinger; daughter in law, Carole married to Robert Bulger. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Friends will be received Sunday from 2:00-6:00 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 am, Pastor Michael Van Dyke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. Entombment Grandview Mausoleum.
