Lloyd I. Verostick, 86, Johnstown, died October 18, 2018, at Amber Springs. He was born September 24, 1932, in Scalp Level, son of the late Charles Thomas and Elsie (Imler) Verostick. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Turk); second wife, Roberta (Forosisky); sister, Mary Jane Sharpe; grandson, Jared Verostick; and son-in-law, Brian Morway. He is survived by his children, Barry Verostick, and wife, Linda (Miller); Debra Oliver, and husband, Joseph, Johnstown; Pamela, Johnstown; Timothy Verostick, and wife, Dianne (Weaver), Johnstown; Terri Costlow and husband, Brian, Johnstown; Cathy Gawles, and husband, Greg, Johnstown; and Stacy Pollino and husband Paul, Windber; grandchildren, Matthew, (Regina Gruss); Travis, (Courtney McAndrews); Evan, (Courtney Lapinsky); Michael, (Melissa Long) Stephen, (Becky Heltzel); CJ; Corey, (Kirsten Wallmann); Ryan, (Suzanne Grove); Nicole, (Brandon McCreary); Ethan; Frank, (Ashley Navarro); and Angela; great grandchildren, Ivy, Jordyn, MacKenzie, Rylee, Jackson, Madelyn, Mason, Landon and Jace; step great grandchildren, Jakob and Keelie; sister, Edna June Buhler, Salina, KS; and brother, Charles Verostick, Jr., Flint MI. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation. Lloyd was USMC veteran of the Korean Conflict. Friends will be received from 2 until 8pm Sunday at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Funeral service will be at 10am on Monday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Rev. Scott Klimke, officiating. Interment will be in Berkey Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded at graveside by members of Charles Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team. The Verostick Family extends a heart-felt thank you to the staff at Amber Springs and Grane Hospice for the care extended to Lloyd.
